Misato awesome lingerie look!

How are you doing? How are you feeling?
This work week was as busy as previous one, but it’s good to be able to do something rather than not. But it also took the precious time I could have spent talking with you.

When I was thinking on what image to share with you today I had three options: Playful dressed, fashion like lingerie and sensual naked look. In the end the fasion lingerie look won, mainly because lingerie is constructed the way, that you still can see interesting stuff, hehe. So in a way it’s a fusion in a way. Bless that person who invented lace underwear!

If you ever read my old posts I at one point made custom lingerie for our project. And only once I tried to make lace underwear. And it was the last time. Reasons I never work with lace again are: they are hard to work with and good (interesting) lace costs a lot. Few meters is already a fortune for the material. For that same price I can buy few meters of different other material, like leather for example. Which costs a lot too.
So, when you calculate the time and costs on producing the lingerie, it’s better to try and find something the market offers or customly made by the professionals. Luckily I’m not that big person, relatively tall but not impressive when it comes to size, haha. So I technically share the same traits as most of our models, which makes the choice easier, feels almost like finding something for myself. (except bigger models of course, maybe that’s why most of them are petite)

Here comes the fun fact. Sometimes we ask our models what is the best “special” lingerie they have in a certain color. (when we can’t find the perfect one by ourselves) And if there’s one and looks beautiful, it always feels like hitting the jackpot! So in a way some photoshoots carry true essence of person. )

The photostudio where we shot Misato project is heavily used by various clothing shops or model schools. And what I once again understood. I don’t like guys from the fashion industry or anything doing with fashion. )
Or people related to working with them. I’ve never met with such hostility and unprofessionalism like it was with that studio’s staff and clients. I guess it was just good old snobbery, which I don’t know why it exists. I asked Tao if he felt the same, but he was the first one going guns blazing, when we were treated poorly. We both usually calm and collected people, but sometimes you hit your own limits.
After many years you eventually grow the sick skin, but such situations sometimes leave you speechless and irritated. Especially when you’re trying to be professional and polite. I still don’t know how it works. People say, politeness will help you with tough situations. But some people consider it as showing weakness. It reminds me of one silly and inappropriate joke: “If you turn over the chair you’ll get four sitting places instead of one.”
The good thing is there are plenty of good places with amazing staff. )

But sometimes stressful situations helps to improve your mental fortitude. So in a way this photoshoot is an epitome of going through them and be on top. Almost like characters in Evangelion are doing their best to push against their demons and dangerous angels. )

Thanks to your opinions under my previous post I came to the conclusion to make the project consisting of styled and not styled images. We looked through all images and not all of them work well with the stylization. Thank you very much for finding time for discussion!
