Merry Christmas! [and Nier Duo progress update]

Hello my Sweethearts!

First of all and little bit late, Merry Christmas!
I hope you’ve spent Eve and the next day in a warm atmosphere surrounded with your loved ones and people who care for you. I also hope this year’s gifts are amazing!

Since I’m not used to celebrate Christmas I somehow missed the day. )
To be honest I forgot what the date was and even day of the week. I have a lot of work right now, after all it's the end of the year, so all I see is a screen monitor, food, doggo, catto, screen monitor and cycle continues. I even postponed progress updates on our current project, because I didn’t have time to write the post.
I’m planning to put up a Christmas tree today after I finish this post. To try and find my christmas spirit. I really forgot everything this year. )
When if not now, while I managed to find a little bit of free time. Right? )

How are you doing? I was curious do you have holidays after Christmas? Like until the 1st of January? I always had an impression that people outside of post-soviet countries have a free full christmas week. Is it so?

Let me share the double progress update of our December project Nier Duo.
Tao says that after October and November, working on different type of models feels refreshing. With only downside that each image takes twice of time on post-production.

Some fun facts about Nier Duo.
Fun fact number one.
Visual concept for Nier Duo can be named as “full leather”. At first I imagined leather jackets, corsets, leather pants, high heel leather boots and gloves. In the end I decided to let go of pants and corsets. Pants, because I didn’t have enough materials to make them. Who knew it would be impossible to find 4 meters of good black and white leather?
Both leather jackets, corsets and bras were ready half a year before. The only thing that left were panties. Why them, you may ask? Booty and stomach area the ones that change a lot and relatively fast. Breast maybe faster, but it’s a bit easier to deal with it using push ups and specific bra shape. In short, if you stop dieting and go to the gym or vice versa, these areas’s future can’t be predicted. So I finished making panties the day before the shoot.

Two hours before the photoshoot I decided to let go of corsets. They just didn’t match with the leather concept. On top of that I already had photoshoots with corsets and it would feel like repetition. I also had an idea that more skin will look better in contrast.

Fun fact number two. This shoot was the first time when our models were introduced to each other. They never met before and, as far as I know, didn’t connect later. Purely work interaction. And it was an interesting experience for me. )
Mainly because one model was totally alright and other a bit nervous. But seeing each other's work, I think helped both of them to perform better.

Fun fact number three. 2P model was fresh and ready, 2B model was very tired, right after another photoshoot. And it created very interesting effect - much needed difference between characters, aside from visual side. )

Fun fact number 4. At that period I started to develop severe back pain after lifting heavy boxes during moving to another apartment. So pain blockade injections were my friends.. Nowadays I’m very impressed with myself and a bit proud.
