I FINALLY got around to finalizing the instructions for the often forgotten flagship, Seregios the thousand blade wyvern!
The scales do open and close seamlessly all over the body!
Just as a warning, it uses 6 of a relatively rare piece (#3628) in order to do the scale gimmick. It's commonly found as the stalk of scooters found in LEGO Friends sets.
However, 3 of these can be found in the Venomized Groot set, so I'm hoping it will pop up more frequently in sets to come in the future. It does seem some Bricklink sellers have them in bulk so at least we know that LEGO is producing lots of them despite their rarity in actual sets.

I'll definitely be adding this one to my future collection. Once I can get these Mizutsune parts in, of course. Bricklink has been troublesome for me these past few days.
