I'm so happy to release the instructions for Chatacabra, which was only revealed one week ago, as my very first Monster Hunter Wilds large monster!
I hope you all enjoy building him and get hyped for the next installment in this fantastic series!

You are right, it's an illegal connection that must've slipped through. I'll have to update it at some point. Rotate the curved plates to a normal position to allow the tail/butt to be flush with the model.

2025-08-31 01:38:52 +0000 UTCHi, just finished building this and noticed an error, the 2 black 27925 pieces don’t have enough room to be turned the intended way with the structure from pages 77/78 connected to the back. The black 1x2 plate pushes them to be flush against it, and the model on page 80 shows the plates clipping into it

2025-02-25 19:05:39 +0000 UTCPage 237 has no error. Those pieces do not overlap or clash at all. It is a legal connection. I would never require users to cut pieces. No other user has had this issue. Likewise on 258, you should not have had to cut the pieces. Check page 241 for the reverse on the construction of the top jaw. The pieces do not overlap. Page 268 is my error. The tab 1x2 plate is attached in that step, but the camera obscures it. It attaches to the bottom of the two curved pieces to make it flush. I will update the instructions in regards to the second issue.

I have found 3 "faults" when assembling it following your instructions, there are actually 2, the third is a piece that I missed and appears in the instructions, but you did not add it. Failed: Page 237: there are 2 green pieces with the reference 79389 (Sand Green) which is too long and clashes with the black piece, I had to cut each piece to be able to put it in and later, to attach the part of the tongue, I had to cut the little circles to be able to attach it (page 258). Page 258: the two pink pieces reference 3710(pink) are very long, I had to cut the piece so that it could fit. Leftover piece: Page 268: you indicate that you have to use the part with reference 3023 (Tan) but you do not place it anywhere, I had that part left over. For the rest everything is perfect, again thank you very much!!!!
