What a great listen! I've really enjoyed Rich's perspectives ever since you had him on the food episode. Really insightful stuff about the cancel culture. I fear the mob culture as well and just being pigeon-holed into a category without people taking the time to truly understand me or my comments. That's part of the reason I chose to remove myself from Instagram, among other reasons. Keep up the good work Ryan and Josh. Looking forward to seeing you in November in SF! I really wish TK Coleman was your guest for that one.

When you guys were talking about how people like to purchase the gadgets to do certain things (like running) but then never end up doing the thing the set out to do, it made me think of my fitness journey! I started to go to the chiropractor back in March for treatment for my chronic neck, shoulder, and lower back pain. Along side my treatment, I was also partaking in specific rehab exercies to help me get stronger. This has by far, been the most active I have ever been in my life (I am 23). BUT it wasn't until I was about 2 months in to my routine that I actually decided to purchase good athletic shoes and a workout outfit! I had none of this stuff prior, but it just made more sense to actually purchase these items since I was already in the habit of doing the workout/routine. I only purchased what I needed. One pair of shoes, 1 sports bra, 1 short sleeve shirt and 1 long sleeve shirt, pack of socks, and pants! All black too.😁 I told myself that you don't need to have 5 different colors of the same shirt to work out. I think a lot of people do the exact opposite. Like you guys mentioned, they get all the gadgets first but then never actually start the new habit. I also think that people just get caught up in the esthetic too.
