My family and I have remained healthy and although I was furloughed last month, I qualified for UI and my husband is an essential worker delivering through Amazon. It has been hard not working (I haven't taken a vacation longer than a week in my 20 years of working, and now I'm into over a month of not working). But it has been a good time to reflect and meditate and work on healthy life stuff and self-care, and strengthen relationships through social media, texts, phone calls and Zoom. It's been a hard time personally because my Mom was diagnosed with dementia and was hospitalized during most of the epidemic so far, but I think she's been as safe as she could have been (she understands less about what's going on with Covid though than Ella does, frankly, so that has made it challenging to convey why we couldn't visit her, etc.). It has been hard seeing friends get sick with the virus (they've all recovered so far; 2 of their Dads, unfortunately, have not :( ). All in all, I feel like I've been pretty lucky considering the tragedies that many have gone through. I'm an Ambivert (right on the border of Introvert/Extrovert), so spending a lot of time alone has been ok, but I miss people and it has been hard to unplug emotionally from everyone else having their own hard road to walk right now and just being ok with the not-okay-ness. I hope you and all of the Minimalist work family are doing well. <3 ::hugs::

Ella is absolutely adorable! ๐Ÿค— I moved into my apartment home literally days before the quarantine. I live by myself, and I found the first few weeks blissfully quiet as I nested & settles in. Here we are into week three & beyond, and itโ€™s beginning to feel stifling and lonely. I canโ€™t wait to entertain my friends at my new home! What keeps me going is our weekly Zoom gatherings, were we catch up with one another. I live near the beach, so I drive at least a few times a week to the coastline walkways (those which have not yet been closed). Tons of reading keeps my mind busy, as well as watching โ€œHerosโ€ on Amazon Prime. My latest blessing was from my supervisor, who just worked out a way for me to work from home! I will be doing my play therapy sessions with my children online โค๏ธ๐Ÿค—
