Comments

Never saw Rich Roll before. How dismissive and snide he was in several of his comments. A couple of times he didn't at all hide his contempt. He's typical of those who espouse the "superior" morality of plant-based diets. Quite off-putting. In sharp contrast, Paul Saladino and Tommy Wood were respectful and thoughtful in their comments.

I agree that current industrial practices aren't helping our food supply, particularly in the U.S. I also agree that there are many factors involved in how we feel. I try to eat more whole-food, plant-based meals, though I'll sometimes have processed vegan foods and St. Louis vegan restaurant options. There are more parks and social groups available to me since I moved to the area. Johann Hari's book Lost Connections brought up that we react to what happens to us, and the disconnections may cause anxiety and depression. Meaningful purpose and a sense of community can help us bounce back. It's not just food and exercise.
