Make the bed Mod | SMALL MODS
Added 2024-05-11 00:47:23 +0000 UTCHey, everyone! I Want to share with You my new mod. This is a small mod that will let your sim make their bed, and then they will get a positive buff/moodlets.
A little backstory about this mod: this was a personal mod. I wasn't going to release it since it was just a result of some of my tests,
I was just playing around with some in-game objects, trying to animate them. This is when I thought of making this mod, it was mainly an experimental interaction. However, I was inspired by the idea and the animations that I could make for it, so I spent some time on it, playing with the bed's rig/physics.
And i have been using it since then, I really liked its simplicity and the realism that it brings to my game, so I have decided to polish it and share it with all of you
How does it work:
You will find the new interaction on any double bed. (This is just a double bed interaction since the animations are made on them.) it will not work on single beds.
Also, this is just a left-side interaction. If your bed is the other way around, it would not work. i know this isn't the best solution but the animation are highly detailed and it won't work if i just flipped them to the other side. I will need to make new ones for that, and i wasn't able to do that with the big gift updates that I am actually working on
Your sim will get some Positive moodlets with a happy buff; (I think that i will adjust to last a little bit longer.)
Things To clarify and some upcoming features:
This mod is BG-compatible.
The interactions can't be played autonomously.
I am planning to add the left side and also make it compatible with single bed (maybe also Bunk beds).
The mod is also compatible with modded beds. Any functional bed will work. There may be some clipping if the sheets are way bigger than the normal ones, but other than that, everything will work.
Requirement :
This mod needs the XML injector by Scumbumbo. You can download it here: https://scumbumbomods.com/xml-injector
How to install :
Just put both my mod and the XML injector script into your Sims 4 Mods folder.
Comments
Mod needs to be updated. Will not work with the newer beds and the interaction image is a llama.
