Added 2020-08-14 22:34:36 +0000 UTCAs you all know, I'm a HUGE NieR: Automata fan and just like Yen from the Witcher I cannot stop putting together new looks for 2B. A few months back I received this gorgeous gothic kimono off of my Amazon wishlist from an amazing fan. I wanted to use it for something special but hadn't thought of what until the night before my last shoot for the 2021 Cal. A friend of mine had shown me new art for NieR: Reincarnation and I immediately got brainwave to squeeze in a new 2B look for the shoot the next day. Going through my closet I found the gothic kimono and it was like the heavens opened up and angels started to sing. The dress was a perfect base for a 2B cosplay! I dug out my boots and wig and BOOM new 2B cosplay. (of course after that I had to figure out how to squeeze in 6 cosplay looks in 4 hrs of studio time... but thats another story for a different day.)
I don't want to shout out this fan's name all willy-nilly if they wish to remain anonymous, but I just want to say thank you so much for the gorgeous kimono. These shots turned out beautiful and I could not have brought 2B to life again without your help. 🙏💖
