Who loves Little Witch Academia? ... um I do!

Again, AX is next week and my sis and me are going to be Akko and Dianna again this year. This time, I'm going to have a few more props for us to play around with for photoshoot and just plain screwing around.

This wand was a 3D print I got off of ETSY, but sadly it was not a very clean print at all. So what did I do? Used a dremmel to sand the crap out of it. I also used the stone polishing head to smooth out the plastic. Besides a few unavoidable seams (the piece came pre-glued), it turned out really well!

The handle base is painted black and then I dry brushed brown over it to make it look like wood. The black beneath creates the illusion of wood grain. The process is actually super simple and adds a nice touch rather than painting the piece a solid brown.
