I love love love the way they include wine's insecurities about sexuality and coming out in this story - perfect balance of serious and lighthearted (minus the ex casually outing him, which I SCREAMED at also) as well as it not being the entire story and totally agree with you that they didn't have to completely get rid of coming out stories. Maybe it's because this is sorta how it went for me when I came out to my friends but I think the way this story does it just feels very real. It's all in your head and feels like it's eating you up until you finally tell them and you realize the people who love you are just happy for you. Obviously it doesn't always go that way (it wasn't like this for everyone in my life either), but I think it's a nice reminder that coming out doesn't always have to be a story about tragedy.
