Refresher on iOS Patrons. Save Your Money!

I noticed a few people signing up through iOS, I wanted to once again advise you to signup through a web browser or desktop instead of iOS, since the markup is 30% to 50% higher than the tier price, which goes to Apple, and I don’t get to see any of my part of the membership for 75+ days. They literally keep my part of that money for over 2 months.

Apple is requiring Patreon to use its in-app purchasing system for purchases and memberships made on the iOS/Apple Patreon App starting November 2024. New memberships purchased in the Apple/iOS App will be subject to Apple’s 30% App Store Fee. This change will not impact current and existing memberships as long as you stay subscribed. The fee only applies to NEW memberships purchased through the iOS App beginning November 2024.

Reminder: If you decide to still subscribe through the iOS App Store, Apple will charge you an additional 30% plus taxes on top of the membership charge. This is not a Patreon charge or a charge that benefits me personally.

If you happen to unsubscribe and want to rejoin at a later time or are a new member subscribing, I’d recommend joining through a web browser or a non-Apple device to only pay the base tier price and still have access to all the content.
