This show kinda came out of nowhere for me. I hadn’t heard much about it until it was about to start airing, and when I realized it was from the queen herself, Hwang Da Seul, I knew it would be great. Blueming was my #1 in 2022, so it only makes sense that this one would make it high on the list as well!
I loved the acting, the pacing, the music and the cinematography. The portrayal of a blossoming first love and the hope of a future together, contrasted by the harrowing cruelness of getting older and struggling with past abuse. Everything was tackled beautifully.

This was hands down, without a doubt, my favorite BL of the year, if not my favorite show overall I just found everything about this perfect; from the storyline, the pacing, the chemistry, the performances of the 2 male leads, the OST and obviously the directing was spot on. This was one of those rare shows that I think about daily even after it's been finished for some time. This young director is truly talented and elicits so many emotions in the dramas she directs. Waiting for her next masterpiece.
