fun fact: modelpress (one of the biggest entertainment news site in Japan) made an online survey for the best kiss in summer dramas and this one was on 10th place... but tbh whole list is very gay with Cosmetic Playlover on 1st, Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko on 2nd, Happy of the End on 5th, Takara no Vidro on 6th and Sugar Dog Life on 7th place.

2024-10-14 12:01:58 +0000 UTCI won't defend the kiss scene, because I agree it was a weird choice they made, BUT it looked very similar to how it was shown in the manga (and it often looks like Japan uses manga panels for storyboards). That beeing said, what worked in the manga didn't work well enough in the live-action adaptation and I wish they just give us a normal kiss
