I first saw Liu Dong Qin in "Psych Hunter", which he starred with Neo Hou who I think is smaller than him. Liu Dong Qin looks tall and big there. So, imagine my surprise to see Liu Dong Qin looks small in The On1y One.

2024-10-07 23:59:29 +0000 UTCA thought - one of the reasons these actors were selected for ML roles is that they can pass for highschoolers but in reality are 30+ - which makes them PERFECT for a season 2 (🤞) where we see them as adults and learn where the future has taken them. Writer/producers possibly thinking a 2 season series from the onset?

Long way from directing a wedding company back to highschool 😎 Hope you can binge a few episodes. Question: will you watch „Fourever you“ with us ? (Earth (coheart)) seems like a good start regarding episode 1

2024-10-05 01:33:09 +0000 UTCI was watcing a Cdrama, "Only for Love", w/ Dylan Wang and his co-star is none other than Lui Dong Qin - the character is a handsome, stylish, sportscar driving playboy Chaebol. Dong Qin went from playing someone his own age, 30, to playing a high school student and doing it convincingly. I enjoy his acting, and chemistry with his co-star, especially in this series.

It’s also the first BL I’ve seen that portrays the Taiwanese—or more broadly, East Asian—school system pretty realistically. Students really do spend their youth grinding through endless tests, studying 15 hours a day, and competing like crazy. I appreciate how the school environment is shown as it really is, not just a fluffy fantasy. Plus, GagaOoLala’s subs are pretty close to the original Mandarin!
