the thing with stanley, thats very obvious later on in this ep, is that he was self inserting in what justin and alex shared… he wasnt really listening to what they were saying because he was comparing that to his own experience and he was focusing on how those behaviours actually affected him… i dont think stanley is necessarily confrontational as a person, but with this relationship scar/trigger in particular, he’s still too affected by it to let it pass by…

2024-09-08 18:06:23 +0000 UTC❤️ I find it interesting that Karl is self conscious about his calouses and when someone tries to hold his hands but has a pet peeve with somene who doesn’t wanna hold them in public. Also, Aaron having a traumatic experience with an abusive relationship with a guy who made him feel worthless and gave his two sparks to the only guy he had a “beef” with (he felt devalued by Nick on the first episode).
