We Are - Episode 16 Early Access

Comments

This series could have been 10 episodes without losing any of the "plot". I found myself fast forwarding through a lot of the last few eps

Here's hoping with Perfect 10 Liners being freaking what, 30 episodes? that we get more MarcPoon than we did here!! Them and AouBoom were the bright spots in this for sure (though my love for WinnySatang remains strong as ever). Prayers for AouBoom lead roles finally in 2025 plzzzzzz

I agree with pretty much all that you said, the show was cute and I enjoyed the characters and their moments a lot, it was really feel good fluffy as you said. But it definitely lacked in storylines. If they had given more even focus on all relationships, i think it would have been better. And yes, nothing is resolved with the dad... You got it wrong, the song that Q sings to Toey is called ’Miracle’ and it was the song Puen sings in the bar in Vice Versa when we switch from Tun to Puen. You were right that it was Jimmy singing though 😉 Chain and Pun were HUNGRY STARVING THIRSTING !!! The bts of the kiss is wow!!! Also, can't get over Pun and the way he looks at Chain, so good!!!! Tan and Fang win at best intimate scenes in the series! Time for AouBoom to get their own series!! Satang’s laugh is so contagious 🤣 Phuwin straddling Pond 😳😳😳 why didn’t we see this side of Peem?! I truly enjoyed rewatching the series with you, it was fun ! You mentioned The Trainee, will you react to it too? It’s cute and fun so far. Sea is ADORABLE as Tae. And Off is very 😳😳 as Jane

WE WERE ROBBED!!! Lol we were robbed of more Pun and Chain scenes! Like it doesn't make sense we wait to the end of the series to show them more. Even in the finale we were already more than halfway through the episode before the confession. SMH It was still a feel good show! Fang was most def my fav! Love him in this show. I also love the scene where the Peem's original friend group sat on the beach and appreciated their friendship! That was very cute!

This was an adequate ending. It took me over 24 hours to finish the episode, but here I am. Another GMMTV series with college men acting like little kids. Let's adult it up a bit with the maturity level. This is what kinda rubs me the wrong way with GMMTV series (and other major Thai companies). Just give me one BL with the men acting like grown ups and not men filled with teenage-like cringe. It could still be comedy (the genre that they seem to be stuck in), but a tad more "real". I think that's where BLs from the major companies are losing me and where others (who have ventured out of the box a little) have attracted me. I think that's why KBLs, TaiBLs, and JBLs (and I wasn't a fan of JBLs) are now far more appealing to me than ThaiBLs. NOTE: These are my opinions and I hope doesn't hinder your enjoyment of any of these show that you enjoy.

my favorite gmmtv bl 🥹 wednesdays are not gonna be the same anymore without my best friends... :( I'm especially gonna miss tan and fang, they were my favorite characters and i hope they'll get their lead roles in 2025 because they deserve it 💞 concerning the phum dad issue: as someone who is in a pretty similar position when it comes to their father, I completely understand why this is the way they went about it, it's the most realistic imo. If you never got an apology for what they did to you and they also know how hurt you feel but aren't approaching you for a conversation, then all you can do to make yourself feel more at ease is either cut off contact completely or start to act civil and not ignore him anymore. I would never demand an apology from someone if they aren't the ones initating it and I'm glad the show didn't push the "having a conversation about it" either and just focused on phum doing what feels right to him so he doesn't have to dread coming home every time.

Javy u know this series has been dragging since ep 3 so it still dragging on the last ep 🙄🙄🙄 but it’s still cute for what it is🙂

For me, the show was more successful than it seems to be for a number of others, though I do agree that there are times it became unnecessarily repetitious. I actually liked the fact that it was primarily about this group of friends and their relationships with each other. The individual couples were a part of that, but much of what happened was a reflection of how the couples were received by the group of friends. I don’t think plot was ever meant to be the most important part of the show, and the characters were engaging enough that I was happy to spend time with them. I know some people say they’ve began fast forwarding through the Q and Toey scenes, but I personally could have watched scenes with him all day and not gotten tired of it. And I feel as though the Chain/Pun story was always meant to resolve the way it does; those super kisses between them near the end made the wait totally worthwhile as far as I’m concerned. All that being said, I would more be more than happy to see new series starring Satang and Winny, Aou and Boom, and Marc and Poon.

I was waiting for your reaction and it really impresses me that you always say exactly what I was thinking. Furthermore, your silence during some scenes says A LOT. I agree that we need AouBoom series, I love them.
