2024-05-20 21:34:11 +0000 UTCI totally get the frustration with Sun this episode. It reminds me of the stereotypical antiquated high school view that if you’re not loud, proud and coming out to everyone the MOMENT you find yourself to be queer then you must be ashamed. Sun seems to have very concrete associations between being more conservative, slow or hesitant and being ashamed and she doesn’t seem to grasp that Ongsa can simultaneously love her and keep it between themselves until she’s more comfortable.

2024-05-20 21:18:20 +0000 UTCI think Charoen meant she was suspicious of Ton liking her (all of a sudden), hence asking him to enlighten her as to why. I don’t think she has a low-self esteem, she’s just being practical with an ethical slut with a past of serial monogamy and ADHD-level relationship hopping 😂 I think for her to be able to see him in that way he’d have to show her that he sees or knows her a bit better, which he hasn’t done so far as we can see in his gestures like the flower and other things she doesn’t like that maybe closer friends would’ve known about her.

2024-05-19 19:03:01 +0000 UTCI agree with everything you said! I missed the teachers this ep!!! One thing that's undeniable though is that Milk and Love’s acting was so good despite the writing.

2024-05-19 04:05:37 +0000 UTCI feel there was some truth in the idea that Ongsa was too preoccupied with what she thought other people’s opinions would be (I know I’ve been guilty of that), and that she was basing a lot of her actions on a misperception of what other people thought. But you’re also right that Sun was not really taking Ongsa’s feelings in consideration. It was a little like what happened between Wille and Simon in the second season of Young Royals, where they were talking at cross purposes with each other, or not communicating at all. Here it sort of took both sets of parents to set them straight.

2024-05-19 03:54:20 +0000 UTClike did NOBODY realise that sun was in the wrong with putting ongsa who wasn’t ready? i had the same exhale of relief as you did when sun apologised like that took forever

2024-05-19 03:43:58 +0000 UTCsigh. i share everything you said about ongsasun lol. like what was that writing 😭😭 we were supposed to be happy, screaming crying and throwing up when they reconciled but i was like 😐 okay sure. and you’re right, sun was honestly being totally selfish cause she just kept centering her feelings, it was just her her her and her, she didn’t think how ongsa felt when she outed her. like does she not realise that not everyone is comfortable with coming out until they’re ready?? hello?? my face was just sour this whole ep lol
