2024-03-18 03:29:33 +0000 UTCI definitely had issues with this show much later on, mainly the odd plot twists they went with, but overall its as Javi described; funny. I considered it a comedy as well and Daou and Offroad ooze chemistry. Its just a funny, breezy little show with a nice cast.

2024-03-17 00:18:22 +0000 UTCI really loved this drama when I watched it! I didn’t know so many people disliked it but hopefully you end up enjoying it :) I think it’s a just a very short and sweet series and wasn’t meant to be anything groundbreaking.

Also fun fact for Javi is that Daou is best friends with Joong so once you fall into the DaouOffroad rabbit hole you end up seeing the hilarity of their friendship! I also just realised the other day that the interview where Dunk gets cross at Joong for staying round someones house it was in fact Daou's

I watched the entire series because it's so hard for me to ditch a series once I start watching it... but damn! I admit, I double tap my skip button quite a bit during this rewatch. I started cringing from the first fanboying moment... smh. I am gonna have to stick with my "Cringe " label. The "comedy" was like nails on a chalk board.

I've been a fan of DaOu and Offroad since they debuted with their T-pop group LAZ1, together with the other band members Geler, Pentor and Diamond. I love LAZ1 so much! I'm really a big fan. Sadly the group disbanded already because the project was limited to one year. They're still seeing each other very often, though. (Fun fact: the song Phoomjai is whistling around 31 minutes is one of LAZ1's singles called "What's The Matter?") Since both, DaOu and Offroad, are actual singers, it was clear from the start that they would sing the OST for this series. One song from DaOu, one from Offroad, and one from both (that's the song you heard in this episode). (Would be very nice to see your reaction to these three MVs ^^.) This is actually DaOu's acting debut. His real passion is singing and dancing (since he was a child already), but he still enjoys acting. OuRoad will have another series and a movie this year. DaOu is actually wearing a wig here. A very good one. It almost looks like his real hair did. He has a buzzcut at the moment because he's enlisted in the military. His enlistment will end later this year. In November, if I'm not mistaken. Can't wait to see him with longer hair again! I have to admit that the buzzcut looks very sexy, though. 😏 Btw, Phoomjai's dad looked familiar to you because it's Nanon's dad. Another fun fact: this series was written especially for DaOu and Offroad, which makes it very special. The last thing I want to say: I think why some people consider this series cringy is because they're not used to lakorns. Lakorns tend to be over the top in terms of drama, comedy, etc. It's not for everyone, I guess. But it's something you should have in mind while watching this series.

2024-03-13 22:52:46 +0000 UTClet me tell you how love in translation came to be ( its spoiler free) Daou(Yang) and Offroad(Phumjai) together with pentor,geler and diamond are members of tpop band laz1 Daouoffroad met in 2021 on a show called laz icon which purpose was to find people to debut in a tpop group offroad didn't know how to sing,dance or rap he wanted to try it however so he went there with only his dream and wanting to learn,working hard and every week he got better and better he met daou in episode 0 when they filmed their introduction(they had to sing) videos offroad didn't like how he sounded so daou called him to record again and they started talking and getting to know each other, in ep 2 i think contestants with high scores get to choose one they want with lower scores so daou choose offroad cause he saw potential in offroad and after that every week they were in same team it was destiny i guess they even got covid together and were in quarantine together first in hospital then in offroad house after contract of 1 year expired with laz1 people saw how amazing relationship and chemistry is of daouoffroad and that is how they wrote love in translation for them also fanfact when they finished filming love in translation daou surprised offroad with matching diamond rings he wanted to buy something special or their relationship and he also bought it bc when they have solo work they can wear this ring and it can remind them that the other person is always there for them and to give each other encouragement now i am not calling myself delulu bc at this point they have both been clear about what their relationship is at this point their relationship is glass closet bc they are not even trying to hide it
