This is a very well-done BL series. However, in a country where you can be sentenced to prison for writing BL novels and posting them on the internet, the entire crew, production team, and actors need to be very, very careful to avoid bringing disaster upon themselves. If the CCP targets the series, it not only risks being canceled but could also lead to prosecution. All dialogues in Chinese are full of hidden meanings, innuendos, word plays, and saying things without actually stating them openly. We can't see any rainbow flags, but a boy's room has a door with rainbow glass. They aren't allowed to kiss, but "brotherly" hugs are what can get through censorship.

BLATANT BL THINGS! That cousin man bun matches his personality... yuck! I love that Su Yu don't take no shit! It's overdramatic for a reason Javi. Wu Bi know "who" his cousin is and that is one of the reasons he want to make sure he has no contact with Su Yu.

But I remember not watching it because I don't like the whole "bromance" genre (it's not my thing) but when I saw that the platforms were promoting as bl I decided to give it a chance and I loved it.
