Dangerous Romance - Episode 3 Early Access

Comments

Obviously this episode was super cute and their chemistry is great, but I actually did feel like them getting along THIS well was a little too fast. I would have preferred that this ep was a little more of a becoming friends vibe, a bit more talking everything out, and then next ep was flirty like this. They even showed Sailom hesitate getting on the bike as he flashed back to the shit Kang did. But then he completely shrugged it off and it was over. I'm not saying it's completely unrealistic or anything, like you said, that scene at the end of last ep was enough to believe Kanghan wouldn't want to be mean to him anymore, and Sailom is grateful for Kang saving him, and if teenage boys find each other cute and no longer hate each other, why not flirt? I really loved Kang just taking him on a date, the interesting highlighting of their different life experiences coming from different social classes, then buying food for his brother, too. 😭 Actually, maybe the problem wasn't even their behavior, but the BL-typical grabbing of wrists, staring into eyes, gripping of waists on the motorcycle, etc, and hoooolding the moments for such a long time, with a love song playing, so it made it feel like they're already completely head-over-heels, whereas if they had just moved through those tropey moments at a quicker pace with more neutral music, it would have read as more subtle almost-flirting, instead of coming across as loving looks (late night studying) and cuddling (on the motorcycle). I do like the song, but save that romantic shit for a bit later! Also, Sailom saying, "Do it for me" also feels a little fast. Who are you, his brand new friend/recent victim? I know ya'll just bonded over trauma, again, but damn. I mean, I do think that for Kang, he would feel motivated to do it for Sailom already (well, and in fact, he already WAS doing it for Sailom primarily, I think, despite his also wanting to impress his dad. He wants to have an excuse to give Sailom money so he is safe.) But for Sailom to SAY that "Do it for me" thing is quite confident (presumptuous?) of him on how close their relationship is, and once again, seems pretty damn meaningful, bordering on romantic, for people who were so recently enemies. From my comment you might think I didn't like it, but I totally did. It was just one episode too soon, we missed some development, so it was distracting. That scene when they got scared though, hahahahahahahaha. Hilarious. I'm just gonna have to let it go and get on board with the rushed bonding, because whatever, they're cute, both the characters and the actors, in fact two of GMMTV's most talented, imo. I do feel like if they're rushing the "romance", that implies that there's going to be a lot of "dangerous" aka plot. So we'll see how that goes. 😁😬 I can't take that one actor from Star in My Mind seriously as a bad guy at all (yet at least). I'm hoping the "dangerous" has more to do with some shady shenanigans having to do with Kang's dad's political stuff, since I'm already bored of the debt collectors, other than if the young one wants to flirt with Sailom's brother, then I can become un-bored. 😉 But then how can he be dangerous, if he's a love interest? Feel like he's going to be a problem next ep at least, since he saw Sailom out at that bar and probably assumed he was spending money that he should have been saving to pay him.🤔 I just can't get over the quote Kang said to his female friend before, from his dad, about sometimes having to beat dogs. If his dad isn't scary or violent at home, I still think he may be sketchy somehow in his work/political life. I guess it's possible that it's a cultural thing and beating dogs isn't considered a sign of sociopathy in Thailand, and thus I'm reading too much into his dad having said that. And into his dad owning a gun. And how ominous it felt when his dad asked him to follow him during the birthday party, until we got the motorcycle reveal. But I can't help thinking that Kang is somehow a bit scared of his dad, from his reactions when his dad appears, which seems like a strange emotion to have if their problem is solely that his dad doesn't encourage or have much faith in him. In this episode it seems like we got all of the info on Kang's problem with his dad, but his vibe remains scary to me despite Kang not giving any indication that their problems are any deeper than what was so far presented. Where did Kang pick up his more violent, menacing tendencies? Maybe I'm still just too affected by Chopper's dad.

as much as im enjoying the series, i do agree with the people who still cant enjoy much the change of heart in both sailom and kang this fast. it all boils down to bad writing, because none of their friends are questioning much the closeness they’re displaying, no matter how powerful the excuse of being tutored is. the one scene that irked me the most is the surprise cake one. neither of the friends batted an eye seeing sailom at kang’s house? no sarcastic or mean comments? i know that at the end of the day the one who had an issue with sailom was kang and the other two are just followers of kang, but this is just showing them in 1 dimension. also, kang and sailom going to the pool? where did the friends go? no party? they really just prepared surprising him with a cake and then leaving? even in bad buddy, where the hate between the two groups of friends was important, didnt change their minds this fast.

I completely understand kang situation with he’s dad. My mom is the same way, my mom is a sweetheart and I know she doesn’t do it with bad intentions but every time me or my son tries to do anything she tells us “ why don’t do it, just go rest, omg u r so tired just stay in bed, ur body is hurting u just sit down, don’t give stuff to people just give it to me, why go over there” I love my mom and I know she is a full extrovert and me and my son are introvert, she is such a extrovert that as soon as she walk tru the door the environment in my house changes and I feel weighted down and she doesn’t stop talking 😂, but yea me and my son don’t say anything to her anymore of things that we try to accomplish because she will put us down and makes us feel like we shouldn’t even bother to make a change and just fill us up with negativity of worthlessness 🤷🏼‍♀️

As much as i enjoyed this episode, for me it was a too quick change from "i hate you" to "i kinda like you and be a good friend to you". You can't forgive this kind of bullying this fast. You can see that Sailom don't know if he can trust Kang (Flashback where Kang wants to drive him home). I also think that Sailom had a crush on Kang before all that bullying startet. I really love the chemistry and dynamic between Perth and Chimon. Can't wait what comes next.

Kang and Sailom trying to get into bars gives me life 😂 I’d give them my insta 🙋🏾‍♀️ lol Still haven’t reconciled or adjusted to what Kang did though. I hope they address it and give him a good redemption arc and don’t just sweep it under the rug like accusing someone of being a pedo and bullying is something that can be glossed over easily. I don’t care how cute he is or how his smile warms the earth and puts the sun to shame. 🤣 👀 💜
