Ha, I finally finished watching this just now so I could watch ep 5. I'm super sensitive to second hand embarrassment, & last week I had to turn it off at the confession scene with all those people listening. Anyway, I totally disagree with the people here saying Pearmai would date Kawi just to keep him away from Pisaeng. Not her style at all! (I hope🤞) imo she doesn't know who Pisaeng likes. She just guessed that him liking someone was the reason for him finally working up the courage to reject her.

Yes, Pear did a good thing by telling off the seniors, but now that she know Pisaeng was never into her (and she already suspects he wasn't), she has set her eyes on Kawi... someone I suspect she knows Pisaeng is into.

I like the idea that Kawi not only went back in time to change himself but is guiding Psaeng's character development as well. I don't think he ever would have been direct with Pear about not being interested in her if Kawi and him didn't have that argument. The almost kiss was done really well. Usually I hate those pauses before the kiss but here it made sense. Psaeng didn't even seem to realize what he was doing and was just in the moment until Kawi snapped him out of it. Can I also just say how much I love Max and Kawi's relationship? Like you said Max is his voice of reason and will say things bluntly. Psaeng in a way does the same thing with Kawi but their dynamic is different since Kawi trusts Max more because they were close friends in the past.
