😭😭😭 Both Madam Yu and Sect Leader Jiang's last words to Wei Wuxian were to take care of his siblings. And this whole episode he was doing his best to follow through. You can tell WWX is so traumatized, and that his mindset has changed to more of a war attitude with how he struggles with whether to trust Wen Ning. Did you notice that while he was trying to decide whether or not to trust Wen Ning, he looked down to the little blue-ish pouch hanging at Wen Ning's waist? That was a gift from Wei Wuxian himself that was meant to help protect Wen Ning from being so sensitive to resentful energy/spirits. WWX gave it to Wen Qing to give to Wen Ning when he lost consciousness after their experience with the water ghouls and abyss out on the lake that day when they were still at Cloud Recesses. Now we know Wen Qing gave it to him, and that he wears it, meaning they both trusted Wei Wuxian's intentions and abilities to help him.
