I love this show so much. It's so true what you said in this, that there were so many moments and yet we weren't even half way. The book is super long, so when they went to print it in English it had to be split into multiple books, I don't remember how many, maybe 5? And this show covers the whole thing. A Hollywood production would have split it into multiple seasons for sure. Oh gosh, ok, gonna move to the next eps even though.... πππ (you know, you saw them already)

We never learn the name of that song in the live action show (not sure why; maybe it would be too gay to say it), so knowing it doesn't spoil anything, and in fact, I think it will improve the experience of watching the show because you will be able to enjoy the song even more every time you hear it. In the novel, the name of the song is "WangXian" (the official ship name of Lan WANGji and Wei WuXIAN), and yes, it was Lan WangJi who named it like that because that is how much of a simp he is. Also, the live-action version of "WangXian" is called "WuJi" (which is still a combination of their names but a different one; maybe because the donghua adaptation was first and has a different "WangXian" song, so there would be two different songs with the same name), and the version with words we heard for the first time in this episode is a duet sung by Wang YiBo and Xiao Zhan (the actors who play Lan WangJi and Wei WuXian).
