Fun fact - the actors for Xichen and Meng Yao actually asked to change multiple parts of their script to fit what they felt the characters would say, making their characters relationship VERY gay π But also another fun fact, their first meeting is the last scene the two shot together for the show

2022-11-04 12:04:04 +0000 UTCI've watched this series a million times it seems and it's a shame that it was only Wei's adopted father and sister that were the two that understood his personality. Wei is someone that can not see injustice and not do or say something about it. He is an out-of-the-box thinker this is why he always gets himself in trouble with the go-by rules of Clans. Yes, I do think he might be a little ADHD π my son is and he and Wei are the same always getting into trouble, never staying still and always questioning everything, which good thing, in my opinion. Lan has a lot of work to keep Wei somewhat under control.

They've only just met, but the amount of smiles and looks they exchanged in one episode makes it difficult not to ship them. Also, I definitely agree with you that Meng Yao's dimples are just adorable. "They are acting like children in elementary school." They are actually still kids. They are only 15 years old at this point, so I actually find every moment they are allowed to have their childhood and act silly very precious.
