As a viewer that hasn’t read the books, what you said is exactly how I feel. Especially in the scene when he is eating ramen and breaks down. In that scene, I don’t think him just reacting to the trauma but his psychological conflict that he is having. What you put down is perfect imo. Also, I disagree with javi on killing off Vegas because of the complexity of his character and so many layers to unfold with him

2022-07-11 06:53:35 +0000 UTCPorsche has the right to do everything he does. he's lived in a lie his whole life, his uncle kept him in the darkness of that lie when he trusted him. then he got dragged into an even messier life. he just wants to know what happened to his parents. Porsche is ready to take advantage of everyone and everything to get what he wants, and he needs someone who won't care about going against the main family like vegas. But he is drawing the line at kinn. He won't use him, take advantage of his love, against his own family. Kinn is his only exception at this moment. I feel that he set it clear to himself first then to Kinn when he suddenly said "I love you". Actually it wasn't sudden and it wasn't a normal confession, it's a need at that time. His head was full of doubts and Kinn was the real fact. He had to said out loud, certainly and calmly for his to hear and also for Kinn. Those words are the only thing that may keep him in check. And the only thing that will give Kinn some justification about what is about to do.

I'm really, REALLY loving this even though it hurts like hell to watch the agony these two are going through. And then Kinn and Porche OMG. This episode was everything. And the pool scene. I never expected it to be this beautiful. It was so sensual. What a great episode!

2022-07-02 23:23:25 +0000 UTCI don’t think Pete and Vegas is a good ship so I never boarded that boat but build and bible 🌚 Chile I been on that boat for awhile and don’t plan on getting off sigh if only their storyline wasn’t so toxic and sad I would root for them but it’s too messed up for me to want that for my baby Pete and as hot as Vegas is I just can’t stan him lmao. I want bible and build in a different bl as main leads with a happy storyline so I can root for them

2022-07-02 23:23:15 +0000 UTCpersonally, i've always thought that the whole vp thing was supposed to be complicated and toxic. just because some fans romanticize it doesn't mean that the show portrays it as such (at least to me). i think pete's whole internal conflict is about him being traumatized by vegas and ALSO being drawn to him. i don't think that we have to separate the two, because somewhere beneath pete's hatred and fear (where pete consistently tried to act as vegas' equal, vegas would try to make pete fear him) of vegas he developed feelings for him. he has this yearning that is evident in this episode, but he also wants vegas to stay the hell away (precisely so that he doesn't have to feel this way anymore). yes twisted, yes toxic. idk, i think their complexity is worth unpacking. these are just my opinions though! (and i don't really ship them lol i'm just here for the mess!)

The back half I have my issues with but I still love this show. I think all of the characters are interesting. This episode was actually the first time I felt myself get invested in the vegaspete relationship & I miss badass episode 1 Kinn even though I LOVE seeing Kinn in love but hopefully we get some of that from the finale! Love hearing your thoughts Javi 🤗

2022-07-02 22:27:51 +0000 UTCcant believe theyre pulling a relative plotline on us,,,,, like,,, why,,,, my theory before this episode was maybe korn had feelings for porsches mother and planned on killing porsches father but it got messed up and they both died (dramatic i know but not as dramatic as them using this *gasp* they thought were relatives story) i agree with what you said about kim and porschays parts in all this. like kim was introduced as a mysterious nosy person investigating porsche's connection with korn but as soon as he figured it out from the monk, korn just willingly told kinn and porsche?? also the pool scene was Good but the whole time i was also anxious about porsche falling over i mean he was up there lmaoo + the scene where they were having soup and kinn was so :D and porsche was :| like how did he not noticee

2022-07-02 22:12:52 +0000 UTCabout kim and chay and the pictures kim had, my theory is that their relationship was more than what we saw, which is why the heartbreak was big for both of them. it's the only thing that would make sense. i'm guessing their scenes were only a fraction of what actually went on. also if porsche and kinn are related i'm done LMAO bruh.......... when i thought the show could not get any more dramatic
