Will you ever react to s2? I think both s2 paired with the movie that is coming out will fill a lot of the holes about the characters that you didn't like this series. Most of s2 is Kiyoi trying to build Hira's confidence and I'm not sure about the movie as it isn't out but I hope it will show us more of them that will help us connect with them more

They just did a horrible job translating the story to the screen and in six episodes. The message is there but they left too much out for me to feel any type of connection with these characters.

2022-03-14 21:28:49 +0000 UTCI don't think it's a matter of the story being "not good." I just think with this one it's either your taste or it isn't. We can't all have the same taste. Doesn't mean this story is bad. A lot of thought actually went into and the characters, and I really could relate strongly to both of them. Sometimes we don't need deep reasons to be weird. Sometimes we just are. This is very much character driven, and gives the message not to be too focused on our own perspective while putting others on a pedestal. What made this drama special for me was how we were shown Hira's POV exclusively at first. That made me see things from his way too. Then when it switched to Kiyoi, I was shocked, and it reminded me of relationships I've had in real life, where people assume they know you because of the way you make yourself appear, when in reality, you don't really know what people are thinking. That's what this was about. A beautiful message to me.
