Exactly. The only sympathy I have for Thyme is that he has a horrible mother. Other than that, he's not a child and knows that assaulting someone is wrong. Not to mention the students he has bullied with the red card "game." The second he put his hand up to hit Gorya should have been a wrap, but unfortunately they are endgame 🤷🏽‍♀️

I feel like Ren is also doing this because he wants Gorya to be honest with her feelings for Thyme that’s why when he asked her who would she choose out of him and Thyme she was hesitant because she already knew what her answer was and he senses it and she confirmed it at the mall

to answer your question: MJ's character did not get a love interest in the Korean version. but then again, he wasn't a very big part of the show in that version either, he was always seen with a lot of girls, kind of minding his business, and occasionally being involved in the F4 friendship drama. i feel like MJ in this show is far more relevant than the Korean character was.

F4 friendship is the only thing I'm invested on in this show. The drama with the rich families is also something I'm excited for. The couples haven't been able to pull at me yet so I just scheme trough those. It's probably my cold heart that wouldn't condemn any of it, too much toxicity for me.

the first 2 parts were just oppressive and stressful for me, because every time Cruella (Thyme's mother) appears on the screen I just want to grab her and tell her tell her 4 truths!! ! the sequel is a beautiful mix of contradictory feelings, the behavior of Thyme, that of Ren, Kavin and Mj, they all 4 have serious relationship problems and behavior to settle! what about Gorya his lie was bound to come out at one time or another! it is clear that I do not condone Thyme's behavior, but I am sure that it comes from his relationship or rather his non-relationship with his fucking mother (sorry for the fucking mother)! the sequel promises to be worse the preview just made me want to punch someone! take good care of yourself and see you soon! ps : umm MJ's boyfriend is coming! translation: Javi is coming!

For me, there isn't really any excuse for Thyme's behavior in the beginning of this episode, or really in prior. There is no excuse for violent temper tantrums, beatings or anything of that nature against someone. It doesn't matter (to me) that she is the first person he's liked or that she wasn't fully truthful with him about losing her phone. Or honestly that she told him she was disappointed in him at the zoo. There is no reason to fly off the handle every time some little thing happens just because HE is upset. And his friends should have checked him after he beat up the random guy in the beginning, but they don't because they were scared too. The fact that your friends and people around you are too afraid to either tell you things or stand up when you are in the wrong, should tell you the kind of person you are. In nearly every iteration of this show I have hated the main couple and I'm actually glad this show is showing why in some cases, you really need to just choose the second lead. Gorya didn't deserve any of that behavior from him and none of the behavior she has gotten. But if this will be like the other versions, she has more abuse to look forward to. Have to give props to Bright's acting because I absolutely hate Thyme. Love you Ren!
