Watched this again with you, and I have to say I loved this show! And I love Teh. Do not excuse him, But love him. People are acting like we cant be both good persons and bad persons at once. Its just so real - and BLfans who reacted so hard to the plot, just wanted fluff and cozyness maybe… I loved the reality and dept of everything❤️

When Oh said that he wanted to break up with Teh and never see his face again, I was like "yasss!!! kick him out" And I totally agree with you, Javi. Teh is such a coward (+ selfish + immature..). I believe if Jai didn't see him only as an actor, he'd not care about Oh at all. Teh's clinging to Oh so much at the moment because he's got used to the fact that Oh is always there for him. Well. Not anymore. I also hope for the realistic ending (if suddenly they make it up in the next episode, I'll be disappointed.. : / )

I think I have the same issues that writers tend to be a bit “biased” towards Oh’s character. I would’ve loved the show even more if the writers made it seem like both party had shortcomings cuz people tend to sympathize on only one side. Like myself, I try my best to empathize with Teh but I could not really tolerate what he had done no matter what reason he had. He wasn’t even discreet with his attraction towards Jai and even acted on it in front of Oh which was so over the line.

2021-06-20 12:29:59 +0000 UTCThis is the first time I saw you so angry to a lead character 🤣 Well, can't blame you— we're all fuming at how dumb and jerk Teh is. But I'm also not surprise. Teh is just that type of person and character that needs to messed up and commit mistake big time to mature, it was evident since season 1 and if he doesn't realize how bad his habits are then his life will just be a series of trial and errors and it won't be easy. I'm honestly okay with this development and plot. Sometimes, it's okay to step back from the cutesy and lovey dovey concept we're all a sucker for and have a slice of reality. Keeping a relationships is not a walk in the park where it's all sunshines and butterflies. The road sometimes can be rough, rocky or uphill and sadly not all have happy endings. That's just reality and I like how it's being portrayed in this series. The over all quality of IPYTM is still excellent for me.

I find it strange that the writers from ITSAY to IPYTM never actually gave Teh a really supportive group of friends. In ITSAY the only person he had was his brother and Oh Aeww straight away had a new boyfriend and a a group a friend's around him. Then IPYTM the friend's that Teh had, two left him within a year and the other one messed with his head and destroyed the relationship so he didn't have anyone to spring broad is emotions on before he messed things up or after he messed things up he said the only true friend he had was Oh Aeww 😕 that's not healthy by the way. Then again in IPYTM Oh Aeww had a solid group of friends to love and support him and Teh is by himself again to deal with the fall out by himself cause his only friend (Oh Aeww and his brother) are not around. I feel like the writer's are just a bit bias towards Oh Aeww. In real life everyone at least as one person outside of a relationship that they can turn to, that can at least guide them in the right direction before they take the wrong path and the after they take the wrong path. Teh as always been painted as the villain from ITSAY to IPYTM. By the way I'm not condoning what he did especially at the karaoke in front of Oh Aeww after he told nothing was going on but I want to be that one friend to him, that there to say boy you f-up but I still love and will be here for you cause everyone needs someone in good times as well as bad times.

2021-06-19 05:53:23 +0000 UTCI was right with you in terms of frustrations. This ep was upsetting. I found myself throwing snarky remarks at Teh and being so protective of Oh-Aew so many times. There's so much I wanna say about Part 2 so far, I could write an essay But we all agree on three things: Teh is dumb, Oh-Aew deserves better and we love his friends <3 (I wish Teh had friends like that too bc I think his lack of stable friendships is one of the many reasons why he ended up where he is now..that's the only thing I feel bad for him on in regards to what he did) With that being said I have no idea what they're going for with the ending. Realistically speaking, Teh and Oh are now tainted. There's still love there but it's just pain and hurt at the moment. Major changes on Teh's side must happen and time apart in order for us to believe that Oh's heart is safe in his hands and even then that's not enough in just an hour long episode 😭 Oh and fuck Jai's "directing style" 😂😂

Watching it back with you made me really think about Oh and Teh’s friend group. Oh found a group of friends who are there for him emotionally and Teh friends are all kept at surface level, if that makes sense. When Teh gets close to someone emotionally, he tends to fall in love. It started with his friend from ITSAY (sorry, I can’t remember her name), then he reconnected with Oh, and now it’s Jai. Teh didn’t show any feelings for Jai in the first two episodes but when the logbook came into play, he lost his mind. Instead of Jai being a good friend who he could freely expressed his emotions with, it somehow turned into him liking Jai and thinking Jai had feelings for him. Teh doesn’t know how to be close to someone without feelings getting involved. He’s…weird, idk. I really am interested to see how they are going to end this.
