This scene is one of the best in BL Serie, some people think its toxic or else but its not if Shu Yi wanted to push Shi De he would have done it for real and even punch him.. what i saw its a man who try to resist his own feeling& who's still heartbroken and another one who's heartbroken and desesperate ... Plus Sam (Shi De) Was really drunk in this scene and he've done an amazing job , and Yu (Shu Yi) wasn't and still manage to play along with Sam perfectly even if its was his first Serie . & i saw that this kiss scene was name as one of the most realistic/ sincere in drama not just even in BL serie & i totally agree .

2021-03-14 12:45:02 +0000 UTC"Is that my chair??!!" made me laugh out loud hahaha this is just a random thought about the cinematography but they've been using reflections a lot with Shu Yi and Shi De in these first two episodes. Quite a nice touch to show they're both hiding something and not being fully real with themselves or each other. Also, there's so much blue around Shu Yi. I'd need to rewatch the first season to be sure but as far as i remember, blue was exclusively Shi De's colour. As in, Shu Yi never had blue noticeably in his clothes or in his room. Whereas now he has blue in the top he wears throughout most of this episode and he was wearing a blue tie at one point in the first. There's blue accents all over his house; the blanket, the painting. I'm wondering if this is meant to represent that Shu Yi has never stopped loving Shi De and is always thinking of him to the point that it influenced his interior design choices. Or even if it's just conscious set design to show that Shu Yi's greyscale and Shi De's blue match really well together. Who knows, I just find it really interesting. I really enjoyed your reaction and I'm waiting with baited breath for the next episode!

2021-03-14 12:12:24 +0000 UTCI think it's so funny that Shu Yi thinks he can be in a fake relationship with Shi De just to hurt him, without hurting himself or feeling anything. In the scene where Shi De is drunk, I think Shu Yi was trying his hardest to keep his walls up, which is why all he was saying was "I have to go to work" and trying to leave. When he started kissing him he gave in because he actually missed him, he's just too immature to solve it with words. I really hope that they solve this in episode 3, or at least start to dive into it more.

It makes me wonder about the promise he has made and because of the depth of his love for Shu Yi what the last 5 years have cost him. He suggested to Shu Yi that he is loved and protected. I am looking forward to the story unfolding . This 2nd series has allowed the actors to produce such a powerful scene between 2 hurting people and I am here for it. I am invested in Shu Yi and Shi De’s relationship. Roll on ep 3! Really enjoyed your reaction Ravi

It is a whole mess, but the actors for Shi De and Shu Yi are really killing it to the point I can still keep looking at this train-wreck.

What is even more astonishing is that the whole scene was unscripted and improvised by both Sam (Shi De) and Yu (Shu Yi) When I first found out, I was like "Seriously?? NO script? WOW!!" In the scene, I could feel Shi De's pain and devastation. He is supposed to be someone who is calm and more rational but broke down because he couldn't hold it in any longer. to be so close to someone he loves yet couldn't tell him what happened because of a promise he made. Now I'm really curious about that promise.
