I think Yoo Han, the probe, prolongs it because he likes Yeon Woo and he wants to be the one to teach him as he said in the science room. Plus in I think episode 2 he said he like seeing the colors swirl in Yeon Woo's eyes. And poor Yeon Woo, I think growing up and constantly hearing how bad Mono's have been and with what happened to his mom, he's just worried because he doesn't want to become like that but he fears that the closer Yoo Han gets then the closer he gets to losing himself to the darkness. Great reaction! ❤️
