While I agree that Galavan was boring. I do find Azrael interesting. He has super strength He tore down a steel door with his bare hands. He has super speed, not Flash level but still very quick. He may be unkillable since he was risen from the dead. He is a skilled fighter. He is basically Ra's al Ghul without the League of Assasins. Just my opinion. It was an exciting epsidoe with no boring spots. It was almost continuing action. The part I'm finding boring in the show right now, is Bruce Wayne and Alfred. They aren't really doing anything any more.

The inmate number on Edward Nygma's prison uniform at Arkham Asylum is shown to be D-171. This is a reference to the comic Batman #171 which was the second appearance of the Riddler in DC Comics. His first appearance was Detective Comics #140 which was released in 1948 Riddles is having way too much fun in Arkham, he may as well be running the place with all the free reign he has in there. When Strange discusses implanting personas into the Indian Hill patients, he is seen reading Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass. This is a reference to the Batman villain Mad Hatter, he said his name repeatedly throughout the episode and may as well have winked at the camera numerous times Do ya think Bruce was inspired by Azrael? Mask, long black cape, fleeing the scene elegantly- sound familiar Azrael He bought a sword to a gun fight broke into the GCPD, stabbed Captain thumb (he has a head like a thumb) and did a bunch of Batman like shit in a show about Batman without actual Batman And wtf is up with Barbara? The writers have spun the wheel and now she’s back to acting crazy
