Shan mentioning she’s never assisted in artificially inseminated a woman. What? Really. I thought ASR was Artificial Semination Reaction? LoL of course jk. Fred! He could have gotten HIV by having it passed on by one of his parents, he also could have had a blood transfusion with contaminated blood. My youngest brother was 3 months premature birth. Violet repeated talking about “monkey touching’ is weird. Yes, not telling the child about having HIV in dangerous. There are things that he might do that could increase the likelihood of his HIV causing AIDs. Drugs, drinking, being exposed to viruses. Not to mention there are blood safety protocols he should be following to not risk passing it on to others. These protocols can be kept private, known only to him but he has to know about them and the reason they must be followed. Extremely irresponsible of his parents to keep this information from him.

2025-10-15 21:54:06 +0000 UTCYeah very odd for cooper to call Violet his “Hot Sister†- I quite like their friendship overall i think, but there are definitely some odd interactions and comments! Very heavy storylines to start the season off with! Selective IVF to be a genetic match. Honestly not sure what my views on this are. Very complicated decision for everybody involved. Ok never mind Naomi is the one at fault for doing this because of the financial benefit. I understand how she feels but this could all have been avoided/made easier if she was just honest with everyone. I’ve been there before and there’s nothing worse than employers withholding information about the financial health of the business from employees who if they knew could have helped avoid it all blowing up. Yes Sam should definitely have prepared Naomi for when he was going to tell everyone, but also she should have told them all a long time before. The parents are definitely at fault for the kid with HIV though. Definitely not ok to withhold that information from him for so long. And honestly the reasoning makes no sense, they were talking about this kid that got murdered because of it, but they’re not talking about telling everyone about it, just telling the kid himself.
