They might as well take the icicle out. It will melt long before the get a chest CT or MRI. And they made the point it was contaminating her insides. They should take her immediately to an OR, remove it and check for internal bleeding. Do a lavage bath to clean the area and give her prophylactic antibiotics. I think Rose stabbing Derek hand in surgery was an accident due to distraction from her anger at him. Damn, Kevin McKidd isn’t staying. That would have been kewl. George owned his mistake with Meredith and how he was wrong to do it a few episodes back as well. Sad about the one husband dying. As for the one wife forgiving her cheating husband. For me, it’s on the people involved. Only they can decide if they can forgive and if the relationship is worth keeping. And we don’t know if she really does forgive him, she may have been just showing him some compassion while he was dealing with being mute for life. She might leave him once he is ready to leave the hospital But the show did give the impression she was at least open to forgiving.

Ok it worked out but I think it’s very dumb to attempt that surgery. It’s just a case of Webber trying to do something wild because he wants the hospital to make headlines. I understand that it makes things easier and doesn’t put them through the same trauma every 30 seconds of their life but i always feel weird about people lying to people that have memory loss. Like what if this is the time that they do start to remember. I hate that she ended up forgiving her husband that cheated on her with her friend. I kinda get it though if she hasn’t got any other form of support system etc. she might feel like she can’t lose both her friend and husband right now. I agree, I think for how important it’s been for Izzie’s story so far it felt like a lot of the Denny stuff between them was off camera.
