I suppose we'll never know if eating animals who have digested walker meat means imminent death And just in case anyone wants to pull up the pigs at the prison as a way to debunk that ...Those pigs didn't eat walker meat ..It was the water that made the people (and the pigs) at the prison sick

2025-08-24 14:20:12 +0000 UTCThe act of the Kingdom feeding their pigs to the Saviors was a spiteful gesture. The idea of giving them filthy food as a way to rebel, symbolizing the hatred and defiance of the Kingdom's people against the saviors. The pigs feeding on the dead did not inherently make the meat or Saviors sick. It is more in the manner of 'spitting' in their drink. It was also a way to save the Kingdom's own resources by using the dead for "food" for the pigs instead of food items the Kingdom can use for their own people and animals. I always called this new group of people, The Garbage Pickers but I believe they are called The Scavengers in the show. Yeah, some weird names people have in this show. Negan, Jadis, Coral😉 . Jadis in the name of the Witch in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. The trailer that Daryl and Richard argue in front of while planning the attack on the Saviors is the truck trailer from the movie Smokey and the Bandit (1977). I knew Daryl wouldn't tell Carol the truth. He couldn't hurt her like that. It might very well break her. Remember, she was a quiet and meek woman in season 1. This world hardened her but the same woman is still inside her, and all the things she has gone through has given her a massive amount of PTSD. Maybe given time this solitude and peace will allow her to come to terms with what she has had to do. What comes out the other side, who knows. Maybe sweet simple Carol or badass Carol or something in between. In any case I like the way they are portraying it. As much as I like Badass Carol, it gives a bit of reality to the show.
