I love Cristina instantly knowing about Meredith and Derek. I also really love Cristina pretending to be sad and Meredith giving away the surgery for her. Their friendship is one of my favourite things in the show.
God i hate George. The fact he’s blaming Callie for accepting his proposal is INSANE. I’m glad he at least told Dizzy (my phone autocorrected this from Izzie but i’m keeping it tbh) off for trying to rush this. I think George should have told Callie a while ago but he is right that this is between him and her, nothing to do with Izzie.
Good to see Richard Gilmore! It’s a bit weird that all the attendings gained an age complex as a result of him being around and the reaction he got though. As unfair as it was to treat him like that, the reason is not solely because of his age, it’s because he’s an intern at that age.
Meredith was being a pretty good teacher to Lexie I feel like. It’s a shame Lexie (very understandably) didn’t seem to be in the right headspace to learn.
Yeah i’m not sure why the old guy didn’t sign a DNR. I guess the answer is so Izzie could use him as a therapist.
I feel really sorry for Callie. Webber said he gave her the job over Bailey because he thinks Bailey is going to be a great surgeon and he wants her to focus on that. But honestly between the two of them it really feels like Bailey is the natural leader and Callie is the naturally gifted and driven surgeon in terms of her specialising into ortho early and stuff.
That’s not to say that Bailey isn’t a good surgeon or Callie couldn’t be a good leader, but it really feels like the best use of their skillsets would be Bailey as Chief resident. Maybe that’s the point though. Build up the part of them that’s weaker rather than letting them focus on what they’re already naturally good at. It’ll be nice to see them working together.
Anything to do with eyes i cannot do. I’m fine with blood and guts and gore and whatever but not eyes.
I’m finding it a bit hard to feel sorry for George in the elevator. I do kinda get why he didn’t want to publicise the fact he’s repeating the year, but it was always going to come out at some point i feel like. Even if it’s just a passing “oh you met this patient last year” or something. Would have been better for him to just be honest about it. But his weird ego wouldn’t let him do that of course.

I liked the stuff between Meredith and Lexi. Especially the end with Meredith talking to Lexi about her Mom’s death. The watering eyes on Lexi had me a little choked up.
Bailey telling Callie that bailey is used to being #1, so now that she isn’t she will be the best #2 in the hospital, the number 1 number 2 had me laughing.
But it once again shows Bailey’s great strength of character.
She is willing to help the person do the job she desperately wanted for herself. She really has to be the best person in this hospital.
I didn’t see anything delicious in what Alex did in the elevator. It was disgusting. He was jealous, jealous of George, because George once again was getting praise and Alex wasn’t.
It shows how weak and pathetic Alex is.
Yes, he can be kind at times to patients, and occasionally to Izzy.
But he shows his complete lack of character when the others are down, he gets off on kicking them.
He knows how bad George must feel about failing his exam and having to repeat his intern year. He knows George recently lost his dad and how that likely affected his performance on his exam. But Alex doesn’t care, he just sees a chance to degrade George, one of his friends, in front of the other interns and he does it.
He does it because he just got chewed out by Bailey for failing in his job to teach his intern while George is getting admired by them.
Weak and pathetic in my opinion.
Yes, people in comas can snore. Snoring is due to obstruction in the airway while breathing. Which is much more common in the elderly due to loosening of the skin in the airway causing an obstruction.
Now if he had been on a ventilator, then no, he couldn’t snore. But he wasn’t on one.
I thought Cristina faking sadness to get surgeries was funny.
OK, George finally told Callie, I wonder if her dad is going to kill him. He did say he would if George ever hurt Callie.
