Yes, your hair looks very pretty. Well done. Even though the woman survived going in the suit with Scott and Greer, you could still be right. The show may be setting up for killing someone off later by establishing this one civilian always going with 2 soldiers on mission. I am glad they didn’t kill her though, they keep killing off the women, Destiny is turning into a sausage fest. Yep, they were lifting the drone to get it on the kino sled. You know, this is getting confusing. We have a human crew on an alien ship, trying to fight a different alien race’s drones, while working with another race of aliens that we had made a deal with and making a new deal with another totally different race of blueberry aliens that have been trying to destroy us on our alien ship. Is Rush changing his ways? Putting Chloe’s well-being ahead of Destiny’s mission. I liked what he said to Young about he always liked Chloe. Uh oh, careful Young, you let Chloe kiss you, what if she transferred the blueberry infection to you. You could have an STB, a Sexually Transmitted Blueberry. Yes Chloe, it is highly unlikely that you would have guessed that in 3 years you would be walking onto an alien ship trying to get them to remove the blueberry infection from you. Unless you took a large amount of drugs while watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. “Chloe, your turning violet! … My daughter is a blueberry.” I figured they would have Chloe keep her new super knowledge. It make her character more interesting. I wonder if she still has the strength. I like the ‘apparent’ growth arc we are seeing in Rush.

2025-07-08 18:40:26 +0000 UTCThere was a interview Joseph Mallozzi did with Dial The Gate where he cleared up that the Nakai wasn't a production name ..It was just Joseph answering fans after they kept asking what the Blueberry Aliens were called ...He said they were simply referred to as "the aliens" when talked about during production. As for why Joseph called them the Nakai ...He thought it sounded cool The word itself would probably make the most sense if it's the Navajo (na-vah-ho Shannan) word "Nakai" which means "wanderer" or "one who travels" ....Given the Blueberry Aliens have travelled across the void between 2 galaxies to meet up with Destiny. Knowing Joseph he's a bit fascinated with Japanese culture I think but in Japanese the word Nakai means "waitress" ......That doesn't make sense Anyhoos that's the backstory on the very unofficial name for the Blueberry Aliens a.k.a. "The Nakai".

2025-07-06 20:15:04 +0000 UTCSorry for the lack of comments. things have still been a little rough, but I managed to finally get a new job which I have started by the time you read this, so hopefully things can start going up for me. As for the blue aliens. While never given a name on the show, apparently in his blog Joseph Mallozzi has said they're called the Nakai. Not sure if this was a name the writers used internally or just something he made up off the top of his head for the blog I wasn't a huge fan of this show at the start. I didn't hate it, but with the different tone & style I didn't like it as much as SG-1 & Atlantis. By this point in the show it had really started growing on me I liked it for what it was despite being different.
