Doctor Who S03E11 - Utopia FULL REATION

I've always really liked this episode, it doesn't quite go on my favorites list like The Girl in the Fireplace or Blink, but it's a really good episode. I thought it was well done and that reveal at the end, even though at the time I didn't know who the Master was, I still thought was great. I did immediately look up who the master was after the episode though and it seemed like they had a complicated history. I actually really liked the YANA, You Are Not Alone reveal, as well. Derek Jacobi was a great choice for this role and did really great with it. I felt bad for Chantho.

Hi Shan just James Patreon member, (yes we know who you are) Shan don’t worry he likes blondes you don’t have to show him your teeth but we appreciate it. John Bell, the little blonde haired boy who played Creet, entered a Blue Peter competition to appear in this episode. He was told over the phone by RTD that he had won over 8,000 other competition applicants to appear on the program. The runners-up, Lizzie Watkins and Jonathan Wharton, appeared as extras. Rather than creating a new fob watch for Professor Yana, they used the same prop introduced in Human Nature/The Family of Blood, cementing the connection between the two stories. Okay so you know how the opening scene didn’t quite match up with what happened at the end of Torchwood well a late change to the script affected the start of the episode, which originally depicted the Doctor and Martha outside the TARDIS. The Time Lord then ushered his companion back into the Ship, pointedly ignoring Jack's approach. However, it was decided that this action should be simplified to avoid bringing David Tennant and Freema Agyeman out on location for such a brief scene. Instead, RTD revised this material to take place solely in the TARDIS console room. As such, only John Barrowman was required to perform Jack's dash towards the departing TARDIS. David Tennant and John Barrowman actively tried to outrun each other during the scenes where they were running for their lives, with Freema Agyeman just trying to keep up with them. I’m glad you liked this episode it only took 3 series but we got there eventually haha The ending is my favourite part with The Doctor getting all stressy even yelling at Martha and I didn’t know who The Master was when I first watched it either. PS Utopia translated from Japanese means the happy fun boat that kills you.
