I've always enjoyed this episode, I thought it had some funny moments. I also recognized so many people, like Amanda Detmer the wife, from Final Destination, Saving Silverman, What About Brian, Big Fat Liar and a bunch of other things. Katharine Isabelle the mistress, a Canadian actress, who I'm a fan of from Ginger Snaps, Freddy Vs Jason, Another Cinderella Story, Supernatural, Smallville and a lot of other things. Corey Sevier another Canadian actor I know from a lot of things, including Instant Star and a Lassie TV series, about the dog, not Lassiter and Melanie Lynskey, who I think you know as well. I also liked the way the case played out, there was no one to arrest, they killed each other, I thought that was a decent story twist, normally I feel like it would have been the assistant, so I like that it wasn't as obvious. I also like that Gus was the one being over the top, going after the girl in the episode, because most of the time that's Shawn, so it was also a bit different. Overall, I thought this was a decent episode.

2025-05-28 07:47:36 +0000 UTCAlright so let's expand on the previous note since you didn't see the point and compared how Shawn/Lassie need to be more like Chuck/Casey (Personally... I'd like to have shows NOT. all progress the same way.. But perhaps that's just me?) Need I remind you that we're 2 seasons into this show ...Seasons that only last 16-ish episodes at most. Unlike Chuck with 5 seasons which perhaps needed to pick up the pace faster between characters since there were also bad guys who wanted to hurt Chuck and Casey was assigned to be his handler along with Sarah so he couldn't hate him FOREVER. ..Right? And although you say there's plenty of shows where everyone likes the main character ...Personally ...I like to have at LEAST. one person (possibly more) NOT. like the main character all that much (or even better ..AT. ALL.) ...It's very unrealistic to be liked by everyone and it sounds boring as fuck ...Did you forget how much shit we gave Naomi for being liked by everyone? EVEN. her enemies ended up LOVING. her in only ONE. season ...The hell kinda crap is that? As you're trying to contest ..Casey didn't like Chuck but he had character growth and became friends with him True ....And if you stop and think about it... Same can be said for Lassie and Shawn There's ZERO. way that Season 1 Lassie would have gone to Shawn for help with solving a case ...Yet here we are at the end of Season 2 and it HAS. happened ...THAT. is character growth right there And like I said.. They like to take jabs at eachother for the sake of comedy (which a lot of people ..including me.. find funny) ..Don't mistake those jabs as them not liking eachother still after 2 seasons ...There's a mutual respect there ...You realise how many times a week I make fun of you for random shit while we're in voice or give you crap in some comment ....Do you think I hate you? ..NOPE. PERHAPS. ...IF... You were to do a 3rd season ..You'd already find change in their dynamic? ...MAYBE. after 2 seasons Lassie won't be telling Shawn to leave the crime scene anymore? ..Maybe Lassie calls on Shawn for help more often? ...Who knows? But don't forget ...It's 8 seasons and 3 movies (with possibly a 4th movie coming aswell) Give it time.
