I seem to have noticed that in most sci fi or fantasy shows there's always an episode where one of the characters is placed in an arena to fight a non human opponent, Angel did it, Supergirl did it, Being Human (US version) did it, now Torchwood I wonder why. I remember the Crazy Frog when it was released, I annoyed my parents with it whenever it came on, now when it hear it I understand why it was annoying (but I still like it, cause guilty pleasure).

2025-05-17 20:41:31 +0000 UTCYeah, i agree with you about Rhys. He was way over the top at the restaurant. Owen annoys me in this ep too. As Gwen said he is a wanker to everyone. Jack's plan is risky, an innocent person could get hurt, but considering everything, it makes sense that he decided to risk it. I REALLY don' like what Gwen did to Rhys, he may be a jerk, but he didn't deserve to be drugged. I assumed that they sent all the numbers connected to the 'club' without checking about whether the dead guys number was still connected. (but in reality it was probably just convenience for plot sake) Not a bad ep overall, but for me i am just reminded of the ep where sooo many people annoy me.

To be fair I think he did a really good job especially with the drama between Owen and his personal life and Gwen and her shouty in public boyfriend. Good to see that crazy frog ringtone has translated worldwide. In the episode Mark Lynch works at the real estate agency Lynchfrost. In real life, Lynch/Frost productions is a television production company founded by David Lynch and Mark Frost. They produced Twin Peaks and other television shows.
