Fun Fact: Denise’s fate in this episode was originally Abraham’s in the comics, one thing that the TV Series likes to do sometimes is switch it up and give a character’s comic book death to someone else in the show. I always liked that they did that as it keeps the viewers who read the comics in suspense. I wish that HBO would have followed this same formula with “The Last of Us” a lot of people probably won’t agree with me on this but giving Joel his video game fate in the show, may end up being the show’s downfall, because sometimes what worked with the original source material may not always work on the big or small screen.

That's why she started counting those she has killed, why she tried to avoid killing that woman at the Savior Satellite compound. She doesn't want to kill anyone anymore and if she stays here she knows she will kill again to protect others. I think the Cheese Man's pacifism is contagious, first Morgan caught it . now Carrol.
