Yeah, they had to bring Teal'c to the brink of death to remove his brainwashing too. Rya'c only needed a shock from a Duck-gun.

2025-05-11 19:50:17 +0000 UTCAlthough I've watched this episode many times, I just now realized why they thought nearly killing Teleford would break the brainwashing. It's effectively the same thing Bra'tac recommended to SG-1 for Teal'c to break from Apohis' brainwashing way back when. That said, since Teal'c was a Jaffa and Teleford's only humnan, Young must've known it was still a risk.
