2025-04-26 22:51:06 +0000 UTCRIP to Jesse. I really liked her character. But there was no way she wouldn't have screamed while her youngest child was being devoured. When I first started watching twd, around this time there were memes that called Carol "the angel of death" because everyone she got close to died except the main cast. Ed, Sophia, t-dog, Lizzy, minka. She also killed all those terminus cannibals, the wolves, and now they chose to overlay her monologue to the little boy while he panicked and died.

2025-04-26 13:36:56 +0000 UTCIn the previous episode, the opening scene with the ants entering Sam's room to get the cookie is kewl symbolism. The ants getting in the house and consuming the cookie is kind of like the Walkers getting in the town to consume the people of Alexandria. Actually if Sam had gone with Gabriel, it's likely he could have freaked out on the way to the church and got Gabriel and Judith killed. In fact I think it likely, without his Mom there he would have done exactly that. You said it was Morgan fault. In the end the only thing in this situation that Morgan caused is the the Wolf Dude died a little later, Morgan got a bump on his head, and Carol got body slammed. The Wolves knew about Alexandria from Aarons backpack photos. Which would have been in the car whether Morgan saved them or not. So they would have still attacked the town, crashed the truck, diverted the Walkers and damaged the tower that fell on the wall. In fact, if you blame Morgan for being to kind hearted and letting people live, then It IS Rick's fault. Because back in Season 3, Rick, being just as merciful, let crazy Morgan live. Thereby setting up the situation where Morgan was able to eventually be at Alexandria. Ah Ha! Where if Morgan wasn't the pacifist he is, he wouldn't have saved 2 strangers (Daryl and Aaron) from the Wolves trap. Daryl wouldn't have been there to blow up the Negan dudes with the RPG, so Abraham and Sasha would be dead. And the Daryl, Abe and Sasha team wouldn't have been there to saves Glenn, Maggie, Enid and the rest of Alexandria. So in fact, Rick saving Morgan allowed Morgan to save them all. Double Ah Ha!
