Having played the game, I really thought that I would be more prepared for what was coming….I was wrong, Joel’s death, while not quite as brutal as it was in the game still hits pretty hard.

IMO when a show is dropping F-bombs every other sentence it’s like alright come on now. I think the intense F-bombs are usually used to emphasize emotion and TV shows always show people in emotion states? Idk I guess people do it in real life all the time when they are pissed ig I didn’t notice it Ellie in the first game swears like every sentence. In the second game (I might be wrong) Ellie swears a lot less. I think it was a way to show she had matured a bit. Idk why they decided to have her curse the same amount as last season Im really surprised and really glad this didn’t get spoiled for you. When the game came out, I know so many people were angry about Joel’s death. Many people stopped playing the game after he died, but his death was honestly WAY more brutal in the game. Interested in seeing if there is a viewership drop next week. The song at the end was sung by Ellie’s actress from the games and was used in the reveal trailer for The Last of Us Part II in 2016. Glad they used it in the show
