Doctor Who S03E08 - Human Nature FULL REACTION

I really do hope you continue to react to Doctor Who and Torchwood. You are one of if not my favorite reactor(s) and this gives me a great way to rewatch one of my favorite shows. I of course support your choice to stop if your not to your interest but just know it was break my heart and I will wallow in sorrow for the rest of my days. ;)

I wouldn't call this an amnesia story, the Doctor has actually had his whole biology changed as well as his memory, so he hasn't just lost his memory he has had it changed so he is actually human in his this. He's not pretending to be human, he is human with a human heart, brain and memories. I remember watching this and seeing Thomas Sangster in this, the only thing I knew him from at the time was Nanny McPhee (with Colin Firth and Emma Thompson) and Love Actually, so seeing him in this was odd. If I was travelling with the Doctor and we had to hide from these aliens I would not have picked 1913, I would have chosen the 80s in America because that was the coolest decade ever and America was the place to be. The music was better (Madonna released her first albums, Metallica had started so did Bon Jovi) the cloths were better, the movies were better (we had Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Goonies, Back to the Future, Batman and so on). So yeah would have picked the 80s and it aliens found us so what, might led to a Stranger Things-like adventure, cause come on who wouldn't want to team up with the characters from Stranger Things (can't wait for Season 5). Anyway if you do decide to stop watching Doctor Who after this series I would be cool with it, but will say just watch until the end of the Tennant era. Don't worry he only has 1 more season and a few specials after this. But I'm fine either way.

Yeah… so my bad about the repeat question. Think I started watching the comments then had to stop and when I came back I went straight into the episode and never heard your response So arguments to keep watching Doctor Who… I actually think I am gonna wait until the penultimate episode to give my opinion because I wanna see what you think of the rest of this season Also I wanna get what I say approved (Hi Tony) before I do. I do have a couple reasons and one last hail mary idea but we’ll see Hopefully you haven’t fully given up hope before then

Expectations spoilers. Might wanna delete

As the biggest Whovian here, I would like to say thank you for giving the show a chance, if you are to end after this series. It's been an absolute joy and pleasure to watch Doctor Who with you. I must say though, if it is to end, please carry on with Torchwood beyond series 1, it's great as a solo show, as well as how you are doing it now.

Hi Shan just James Patreon member, this episode was based on the 1995 novel of the same name and was a two parter interestingly enough in Japan the episode title translated means the happy fun boat that kills you. Where to begin with my favourite two part episode, when the Doctor is speaking to Joan he names his parents as Sydney and Verity. This is a reference to Sydney Newman and Verity Lambert, the original creator of Doctor Who, and the first showrunner/producer. The receptacle for the Doctor's identity was originally a cricket ball but this was changed to a pocket-watch, as this was something which could actually be opened. The Doctor, well John Smith wears a bow-tie in this episode. Two cast members from this episode would go on to appear on Game of Thrones Harry Lloyd (Baines) was (Viserys Targaryen) and Thomas Sangster - Latimer was Jojen Reed. The Family's spaceship interior was actually a redressed version of a portion of the Hub from Torchwood. Love this episode 3 roses from meeeee, as for convincing you to keep watching… Season 3 Episode 10.

Finally past the weaker parts of series 3, it's much better from here and series 4 is so much better in terms of episode quality and series 5 keeps going with the quality from series 4
