Shoji’s origin is something I wasn’t considering at all before its reveal. All we knew about him was that he didn’t have a lot of things when they moved into the dorms; Nejire asked about his mask but got caught up in asking other students intrusive questions; and during joint training he said he was used to people being afraid of him. That isn’t a lot to go on regarding how painful his life was before UA, or how severe the prejudices against Heteromorphs are in this society. If anything I wish that this aspect of quirk society was touched upon more in an earlier season.

2025-04-11 17:01:57 +0000 UTCHe's not my favorite character, but thank goodness spinner didn't lose to those losers, and that he was able to get back in his right mind again before he charged in that building.... Overall this episode gets a 5 out of 10... Gave me X-Men vibes for sure with all or most of the humans against the mutants. Especially if you looked different... I'm sorry but I'm not open minded enough to date a girl if she has a face like a Pterodactylus... I wanted to see my boy Dabi again raise some blue hell, so he can finally get that face to face with dear old dad. I'm sorry, but I'll take my Todoroki brother over your Todoroki brother Any day 😆 I think since Bakugo is dead that the only fight I care about is between the brothers, because Dabi don't and never gave a damn about one for all. Not even all for one... He just always had his own mission... Damn... I went too long again about somebody who wasn't even in the episode... Let's hope the next two are better 🙂
