2025-04-03 08:50:20 +0000 UTCGenuine question: Does anyone actually enjoy this episode? Cuz i have never met a DW fan who does. And yes this episode is a lot like Ood/ Devil episodes. This is what I like to call the “budget episode”. Basically the episode where the monster has little to no effects or makeup. Season 1 it was the “Are you my mummy” and season 2 was Fear Her This season continues to be meh IMO. How do you feel about this season so far? Hopefully not too discouraged

2025-04-01 21:04:30 +0000 UTCI didn't like this episode when it came out and I still don't like it now. But I can still find some positives. The whole episode takes place in real time like 24 did. They had 42 minutes to save the ship and they did ambitious but done badly, only other good they was David Tenant's acting. Now I've said all that I'm going to find my neurlyzer and make me forget this epsi- (flashes neurlyzer)...... Sorry what was I talking about?

Fuck this episode and the guy who wrote it. No facts, no behind the scenes just me shitting on the episode, not even a hot and sweaty Martha jones can save it. Remember how Buffy would have a so-so episode right before a brilliant one > Go fish followed by Becoming. Halloween followed by once more with feeling. Well 42 is no different. Hold on to your pants and do the rara dance because the next ones will slap harder than Will smith at the Oscars. Burn with me, no. Burn this script, if this episode aired on a plane mid-flight I would still walk out. Three bombs and there covered in sweat.

I got to mention the music/score, because it is just amazing week in week out, Murray Gold(composer) does an amazing job. And, who is this Mr Saxon? mentioned a lot this season.
