Beckett just tried to resuscitate a soldier by giving him mouth to mouth ...The next scene we find Beckett sitting next to the soldier and he's covered him since he's dead .....Only for us to find out he's NOT. dead? ...Beckett is seeing shit too ....And also ...Beckett just basically "kissed" another random guy! Does that count? I'm counting it! 5. Aight so you mentioned that the episode you "watched" before you ever started the show had a scene in it of perhaps Sheppard walking away from a helicopter ....I was thinking that MAYBE. it would have been this episode ...But given your lack of response I see I'm probably wrong ...I say probably ...Cause this episode is all kindsa boring and so there's not really any "reaction" coming from you regardless so it's hard to tell 6. So here's a question ...Why don't they just fly a Jumper through the gate to go and attempt to rescue Sheppard and his team?? They sent a U.A.V. through so tech obviously works on the planet ...And SURE. the gate is in the middle of the woods but they would need a Jumper regardless to dial the gate ...And this way they won't HAVE. to wait for the Daedalus to pick anyone up ....I dunno... Seems like an easy solution to me 7. You wondered why the Daedalus wasn't near Earth ....See this is why we have a Watch Order Froots ....In the SG-1 episode they said the Daedalus wasn't able to help fight off the Lucian Alliance and save the Odyssey since the Daedalus was on it's way to Atlantis ...It takes 18 days to fly from Earth to Atlantis ....In THIS. episode it's said Daedalus is still 2 days out of communications range ...Meaning that during the SG-1 episode it was most likely CLOSER. to Atlantis than it was to Earth ....BOOM! Continuity! Mic drop 8. You're asking if this episode is frustrating ....Well there IS. something that is frustrating here ...Sheppard is hallucinating being in the desert ...He's obviously NOT. ....He's walking around the forest with a wounded Teyla ...Yet surprisingly dodging ALL. the trees in the damn forest ....Also ...Beckett LEGIT. saw that that soldier was dead ....But now he's ignoring to help McKay cause this dead soldier is all of a sudden back on his feet and asking for help?!?! ....GHWAT?!!? Where did Becket learn to become a doctor?!? ...This ISN'T TWDverse! ...Dead patients generally STAY. DEAD. mah dude! 9. Sheppard just shot McKay ....Blink and you'll miss it moment cause the camera pans away really quick ...But in his hallucination... Sheppard just shot a Taliban freedom fighter who is played by Captain Singh from The Flash 10. See it doesn't make any sense ...Sheppard is hallucinating that he's in the desert ...He's CLEARLY. NOT. in a cave ...Teyla is begging him to sever some cord inside a Wraith device but Sheppard is thinking he's in the damn desert right now!! ...It DOESN'T make sense that he'd be reaching out to anything or following Teyla's request for help cause he can't see any of the things she's pointing out to him and NOTHING. she says is actually word-for-word coming through to him cause he's seeing his old buddy who he lost in Afghanistan ...This is a weird way to fix the jammer issue ...Teyla SHOULD. have severed the cord herself ...I mean is it really THAT. difficult to sever a cord AND. hold a tablet at the same time?? ...The answer is no ...You find ways to make it work for crying out loud! /rant

2024-06-25 07:03:19 +0000 UTC"Teal'c manually dialed a gate." Yes, but those are Milky Way Gates. They have moving parts and can be manually dialed. Pegasus gates have no moving parts. They don't spin. You can dial them manually because there is nothing to dial. They just have lights that move around to simulate a spin instead of having parts that actually spin.
