Ah yes, Jon Bon Jovi. Having grown up in his home state, people definitely had a certain admiration for him. Especially since my hometown was where where his parents lived and his kid brother went to my HS. A classmate of mine even ended up being one of Bon Jovi's touring guitarists. I never met him though. It was a waste to have him on the show and not sing but I think that was more about Jon than the show, because he does have acting credits under his belt. He has been in various movies and TV shows and his acting career didn't really take off but the roles he has taken have mostly been distinctively different from his music career. He might have it in his contracts that he is not going to sing in his roles, who knows.
