I usually make comments along as i watch this ep. The only comment for this ep I have is that i love Fish and Ally's scene, he was really sweet and so is there friendship sometimes. Other than that this ep seemed very pointless.

2024-04-22 06:17:49 +0000 UTCI'm just finding that I have a hard time caring about any storylines involving the new cast members. Jenny's mom is getting married? Yeah don't care. Her finance might be a cheater, or they're in an open relationship? Don't care. Will Ally and Glenn or won't they? Don't care! And he was Cyclops! I didn't even notice until this episode that they completely sidelined Billy 2.0 and he basically just appeared on camera once. I am though, noticing how underutilized the other supposed stars on the show are. I was actually shocked that Nelle spoke in this episode. Elaine was in one scene. And Ling was completely absent. What made the show good before was the supporting cast. But you don't just put a bunch of new cast members in the spotlight while forgetting the other ones. Also, this court case was another ridiculous one. I could just imagine if people sued these companies that failed to find them a date. There would be a whole separate section of law dedicated to these cases. The open relationship thing isn't for everyone. I agree that people shouldn't be shamed for being in one. But I don't think that's what the show was doing. They were illustrating that the 2 of them were happy and they even showed the wedding. Ally's hangups with it didn't take anything away from new girl's mom and her boy toy. I'm glad anyway that we got another episode this week. I still haven't seen you do the thing you said you were going to try to get it over with faster and react to more that one ep for certain weeks. But I totally get why it's difficult to do that. The show doesn't really make you want to keep watching one after another, particularly this season.

You COULD. have a point ....They MIGHT. have given these new characters a fuckton of screentime for the sake of trying to give them their own spin-off .....Ofcourse we know (living in 2024) that there was never a spin-off made ....Sooooo... That kind of blows that whole theory out of the water 2. Ah ok it's the episode where they have the Mariah Carrey cameo .....I knew that one was coming ...Would have been nice if it was blurred out but whatevs ...Still NOT. the Season 5 thing someone on YouTube tried spoiling you about though 3. Random note ...I recently saw an article online that listed some of the most wealthy actors in the world ...While one of the highest ones are Jerry Seinfeld with 900something million and Dwayne The Rock Johnson with 800something million ....I was shocked to find they apparently pale in comparison to Jamie Gertz (the actress who plays the woman who needs her mum to go on dates) ......She's a billionaire ....8 Billion to be exact ....I mean... Granted ...She MARRIED. a billionaire and that's how her networth got that high ...But still... It apparently counts .....If you're THAT. rich ....Acting must be just a hobby ..Something to do for funsies ...And apparently she's been married to this guy for a LONG. time (way before this show ever existed) ......Anyways ...Random note ....Continue 4. Kimmy: "I'm looking for a kind man with fertile seed to be my lovemate" ....You.. Drinking at the same time this is said .....Me... Wondering why that drink didn't go straight out your nose .....Who the FUCK. says that kind of stuff in a dating profile video while keeping a straight face?! 5. Oh really?? You signed up for some sort of matchmaking program and DIDN'T get matched to your one true love straight out of the gate??? ....This woman thinks matchmaking programs are an absolute success ....Bish... You get matched with people who either share your interests in SOME. way.. In which case you MIGHT. end up in a happy relationship... OR. ...More likely... You get matched with people who JUST. want to screw you and then NEVER. see you again ...This whole case is just dumb cause this woman doesn't know how things work 6. HA! Kimmy: "Their slogan was guaranteed success every time... Until they met me... Guaranteed success every time but once" ....You: "Well that's a stupid slogan" ...YEAH!! Who the hell came up with the idea to add that to the end!? ....That's just bad for business 7. You: "Matchmaking services are fucking bullshit.. You like something (point to one person).. You like something (point to other person).. You must be a match" ...True! And these days it's even worse with there being so many of these services online ...A lot of them filled with fake profiles and people who have ZERO. intent on using the app for the right reasons ...And then there's the shallow people who will not give someone a time of day just cause they don't fit their "perfect" image or some bullshit ...UGH... True love is dead 8. Ok... As a woman.. You probably don't approve of this ...But... I'm a guy... I know how guys think ...If they want to be absolutely sure that this guy isn't gonna cheat on New Girl's Mum.. Cause they've noticed him hitting on women before .....Then Ally SHOULD. try to bait him ..Froots.. If you "dangle a piece of meat" in front of a guy (just trying to go for a saying there.. No ill intent meant) ....Then only a guy who is ACTUALLY. trustworthy will STAY. trustworthy... You might not believe that to be true but that's just cause you don't know how men think ...And a cheating man can EASILY. be baited ...I truly believe it's a test that women should use more often ...It weeds out the good from the bad (This MIGHT. apply the other way around aswell.. I don't know ..I am absolutely clueless as to how women think.. Y'all are a complete mystery to me) 9. First of all.. Let me repeat ...Ally should go on meds ...Hallucinating is NOT. healthy ....Second... If I started seeing "people" everywhere ...I'd be a little bit more freaked out than her ...How is she not freaked out?? How are her co-workers not concerned? Does anyone really give a shit about Ally's mental health?? Cause... They SHOULD. ....It might negatively affect their own if this kinda shit were to continue to happen ........Then again we're talking Ally McBattarang here... They're just using her mental illness as a joke 10. Sooooooo.. This woman just started a singing flashmob inside the courtroom ....Get's told SEVERAL. times to quiet down but continues regardless .....How did this case not get thrown?? ....This judge has ZERO. control over his own courtroom 11. Wait wait wait wait wait ....HOOOOOOLDD UP! .....Ally goes to Elaine to try and trick the guy into cheating and Elaine .....Elaine!!!.... The "Office Slut" ....Is like "This doesn't feel right" .....When the FUCK. did Elaine get this sudden character development!?! 12. Welp... PAUSE... At least now they know for sure that the guy can't be trusted ....Although ....Given that the mum told Richard earlier that she'd been a "bad girl" ....I'm assuming both she and her fiance have some sort of open relationship type thing going on and that telling the mum her fiance hit on Ally ISN'T going to shock her ....Aaaand play ...added right after... Yup.. Nailed it 13. True... It wouldn't be an affair if they were both in an open relationship ...If you're into that kind of a relationship then you are ALLOWED. to see other people ....An affair only applies in a monogamous relationship 14. Same... I wouldn't be able to be in an open relationship either ...Not only does it mean you don't truly love the person you're with ....But how would you be able to NOT. get jealous? .....Nah... I'd rather be with ONE. person instead of having to share them ...I'd NEVER. be able to get the thought out of my head that maybe they'd just be stringing me along as a third wheel or a back-up option or something like that ...Or that I'd be wasting my time while I COULD. be out there trying to find someone loyal ...AND... That inevitably things would come crashing down and I'd be alone again ...Too many things that could go wrong ...Hard pass 15. Yeah they're treating this like getting with someone else while you're in an open relationship is "cheating" ...Were open relationships a new concept 20 years ago?? ...And if so... Did the writer of this episode get hurt and needed to vent?? ....It's NOT. cheating if you've BOTH. agreed to be in this kind of relationship .....The concept is still weird as fuck to me... But ...Some people apparently want to do things this way ...To each their own I guess 16. Yeah the "Ticking Time Clock" thing is bullshit ...Ooooh nooo.. You're approaching your 30's ...Better get to baby making!! ....It seems like such an out of date message to send to young women ...Especially in this day and age where (assuming you want kids) you can get kids by other means... Y'know ...Surrogacy... Adopting... Kidnapping ...Creating babies in a game ...There's all sorts of ways to get what you want ....I'd especially recommend the last one ...Cause you can just turn down the audio on the game and you also don't have to deal with diapers and vomit and 18 years of school tuition 17. You about John and Ally dancing: "What the hell are you doing? John looks like he's having some kind of seizure" ....Froots... That's literally what I think when I see people dancing ...Every single time ...And most of the time I think it's kind of funny to observe people ....People in general just like making random non-sensical movements to music when they don't know how to dance ....In such cases I'm standing in the sidelines like ...What redonkulous move are they gonna make next? ....NOT. that I'm good at dancing or anything ...I cook food while listening to music... Singing along while doing all sorts of weird dancing moves too ...And there's you... Chair dancing during certain intros or songs ...We're all a bit weird I guess ...And that's ok ....But it's fun to watch 18. You: "There's no way you have Mariah Carrey in this episode and not have her sing.. That's bullshit" ....True... But how do they explain the fact she's NOT. playing herself yet she still ends up randomly singing at this bar?? ....It's a bit of a weird plot development for this random side character to be invited to sing all of a sudden isn't it? ...added later... They just completely skipped over an explanation for that 19. I just had the craziest thought ...And this is NOT. how it ends ...But it would be a CRAZY. ending to the show ....Ally has been hallucinating random people all throughout the show ...WHAT IF...? EVERY. co-worker she's got "working" with her were all just in her head!? ....What if we end the show with finding out she's been in a looney bin the entire time!? ....Maybe her "co-workers" are just random people who work at the funny factory ...Like I said ...Crazy thought ...And sorry ...But yeah that's not how it ends .......I think ...Or maybe it does and I'm just throwing you off ...Who knows 20. Yeeeaaah.... Richard does have his moments ....When he's not being a weirdo ...We're reminded that he's actually ...Sometimes... Got some wise words to dish out when someone needs it ....He's me!! .....Well... I'm not into waddles ...Nor am I a womanizer ...Or a sexist .....Ok ...He's not me 21. Yeeeeeeah... This woman is like "You should change so that you're more approachable" ....OR... And hear me out ...Maybe you should just let people be who they ARE. ....Don't tell someone they need to change ...Cause in your view they need to check off some boxes in order to be eligable to be loved ...I'm SURE. there's a guy out there for Kimmy ....He's just gonna have to be willing to go on dates with her and her mum (NOT. IT.! ...........Although.. For half her fortune.. I'll whore myself out) 22. Nope... I just did some light google searching ...And this actress was in a few Broadway productions / tv shows but wasn't some sort of huge fameous singer like Mariah from what I can see ....If Mariah doesn't end up for ZERO. reason singing at the bar in the closing 5 minutes of this episode ...Then they missed out on having some good talent on the show 23. I paused it at the correct timing ...No.. That was most decidely NOT. Callista doing all the skating 24. Aight... We end the episode with Mariah ACTUALLY singing (Which is kinda weird ..Cause it's not really her... Just some random side character who apparently can sing) .....And it's accompanied by shots of Ally who I imagine is hallucinating that she's there ice skating all alone ...Doing all sorts of moves which UNDOUBTEDLY. outside of her hallucination has her injuring a LOT. of people who are also there trying to have a good time
